it was super cheap. At the same time. So I'm happy. fine product; fine price. But different than the picture.
Cheap but seems to be loose in my laptop - most likely pulled it out the wrong way because I had no problems for the first few months
But for 3 dollars, well worth the money. If you don't set it just right the input is lost. I'm running my Macbook black 13" 2.4Ghz 2Gbsdram to my LG 37" tv. It works but the connection around the mini-dvi port is dodgey.
So your apparatus must be secure, and you should expect to lose connection a lot if you're moving your Mac around. A far better investment than buying the Mini-DVI to DVI and then DVI to HDMI converter combo. The only issue is that Mini-DVI connectors, especially this one, tend to pop out of the mac's Mini-DVI slot.
Follow these steps to calibrate with Plasma:-plug in-System Presferences -Displays -TSB-TV window will pop up -'Arrangement' tab -Check "Mirror Displays"DoneI also calibrated the color with little change. I use this cable with Apple MacBook Black 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo/2GB/250 and it works great on my Toshiba Regza 42" Plasma.
